Abstract:
Isolines of tailings thickness along Silver Bow Creek. Developed by Canonie Environmental based on interpolation of soil boring data and visual estimates by field workers. The data was edited at the State Library based on instructions from Canonie.

These data were formerly available from the Montana State Library web site but were removed because they are potentially out of date. Please contact the Federal Superfund Bureau of the Montana Department of Environmental Quality if you want these data so they may tell you if newer or better data are available. If the data are not available from the Department of Environmental Quality, you may request a copy from the Montana State Library data archive.

Attribute accuracy report:
The tailings thickness arc attributes contain the correct values. The thickness polygon attribute is the correct average of the values of the arcs that bound each polygon. The cubic feet volume attribute of the polygons assumes a uniform tailings thickness within the polygon equal to the average of the values of the bounding isolines.
